Skycast offers an entertaining weather application that includes various whimsical elements such as flying sheep, raining cats and dogs, and playful squirrels.
It leverages hyperlocal weather information provided by the Forecast Dark Sky API. By adjusting the slider at the bottom, users can view animated cloud cover and precipitation details accurately reflecting the weather conditions for that specific hour.
Skycast also integrates with Apple and Google Calendar, displaying daily and hourly appointments seamlessly as you browse through the app.
Users can simply tap on the temperature to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius units or tap on the location to switch cities for weather updates.
